The Wait (Season 6)

Valiant butterflies wrestle to keep alive dreams
A patchwork of poppies splay my waning green
Seven chords a strung, I hear the faraway raas begin
A flurry of colors veil my fluttering heart
New year's arrived and still no you in sight
Tears flow camouflaged by the bubbly spring brook's dance

The Wait (Season 5)

Smog blinded I walk through the chill
Harsh winter gravels echo the lone footsteps
Indignation sits dry on my bleak cold brow
Sundown hastens ignoring my sighs;
Holding on to the warmth of you isn't easy...
I stare into the campfire, my bones remain numb
Radiance dispels the dark only to mock the dying boughs

The Wait (Season 4)

Heaviness descends in chilly gentle gusts
Evenings lazily romance the glorious dusk
Miseries mate my dreary autumnal wait
As the fragrance of fresh jasmine distemper
Nebulous skies of sweet heady memories
Twilight hastens to herald the night
Another day disappears without you.

The Wait (Season 3)

Silver shadows shine and shower
Heaven's graces in pious spendor
A lilting Malkaun, temple bells peeling
Rhythms resound a Raas unfolding
Alas! my Chauth freezes all time
Dark Diwali mocks my lone unlit lamp

The Wait (Season 2)

Vagient skies torment
And I drench in my own cold tears
Resilient I wade through mud splattered lanes.
Shivering like a wild wet creeper my
Heart clings to the wet barks of a dream
Awaiting the succor of its sun

The Wait (Season 1)

Gaunt greasy limbs totter
Remedial winds no where in sight
Eerie redolence of the past
Ease by; invoking humid
Sweaty deliriums
How I wish you were here
My fever rises. I sit nursing
An unquenched thirst

Beer10

They disappear one by one;
The quiet hours of the day
And the glistening twenty four in the crate
